MCSA Studying
Just finished studying with Eryn for out test that we want to some day, maybe, eventually take. MCSA. Another hoop to jump through to try and get a better job. I have to admit, I have learned a lot studying for this exam. Granted, the book had very little to do with that. In fact, the book is so bad that I am actually going to write a scathing Amazon internet review. That's right, take that! I still bought the book anyway, and am still going to spend good money taking your test, but I'll have the last word on this Microsoft. We managed to kind of cover DNS and DHCP. And I say kind of because I still feel like I am going to fail this test when we inevitably have to take it. The book just gives very little to no examples, so I have nothing to really relate these very abstract concepts to. I mean sure, I know what the hierarchy of a DNS name resolution looks like (kind of), but could I explain it thoroughly to someone else? No. Can I pass the MCSA test which is the ultimate goal here? No. Expectations are not high on my future test success.
